LAUREN TRACY
Lauren Tracy is a fiber artist working in St. Louis, Missouri. A graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, Lauren has applied her craft in various forms including soft sculpture, wearables, home decor, and wall works. Dreams, mantras, and self-evolution are themes of interest explored through image, text, and material. Lauren is currently the curatorial director of Houska Gallery.
Lauren’s current body of work is a combination of traditional silk painting and batik techniques, woodworking, and experimental application of plaster as stuffing. The mixed media assemblages present existential queries and playful reminders of human-ness.
